I'm a busy dad in West End Toronto (Roncesvalles) looking to find some like-minded people for a band to write originals and gig. (Profile says I can gig 1 night/week, but let's be real, probably more like 1/month.)
I could do fun rock (Van Halen, AC/DC). I could do stoner. I could do post-blues garagey stuff (The Kills, early PJ Harvey). Or we can put influences in a blender and see what comes out. Or try me with something else ... I may be a white guy in his 40s but I'm just not interested in a jukebox rock hits cover band!

Influences
Black Sabbath, QOTSA/Desert Sessions, Eagles of Death Metal, Monster Magnet, PJ Harvey, The Kills, anything Motown, lotsa classic rock. Lately I've been listening to Death From Above 1979, Goat, Wolf People, Khruangbin, Kikigaku Moyo, King Tuff, Tame Impala, getting weirdly into Supertramp, and getting reacquainted with Van Halen. And 70s R&B and funky soul is never off my playlist.

EQUIPMENT
Two 70s Rickenbacker basses and a Fender Jazz. Been noodling around with a Fender Bass VI -- still trying to figure that one out. Occasionally pick up a Dearmond electric guitar but I suck at guitar.
