Seeking Bandmates

56-year-old singer-guitarist looking to join or form a gigging, blues-based rock band to play covers and originals. Interested in hooking up with a drummer, bassist, and a second guitarist and/or keyboardist – piano player. Vocals are a definite asset but not a deal breaker. Also open to doing a trio.

Not interested in doing strictly covers or tributes. Looking to do a healthy mix of originals and covers with an emphasis on improvisation and creativity.

*Please note that I would like to play live as much as possible.

Influences

I have far too many influences to list here. Rock, Pop, Country, Motown, Blues, AM Gold, Oldies, Classic Rock, Grunge, Hard Rock, Metal. It keeps growing from there. I primarily like guitar based/driven rock and pop songs more than anything, but anything with a good hook and groove will do.

EQUIPMENT

What I have? Exactly what I need to get the job done as far as guitars, amps, mics and stands go... Most of my evenings and weekends are open for rehearsals & gigs... A reliable set of wheels... A stupid number of original songs and ideas...

What I don't have? A warehouse, basement, or garage... Or a PA system. *Of course I have no issues with pitching in on the rental of either if needed.
