I am a 17 year old female drummer from Caroline. I have been seriously playing the drums for about 6 years now. I had a small bit of guidance when first learning but I am mostly self taught. I do not read music, I have always played by ear, and I can generally learn a song within a day or so. My strength would definitely be my quick feet, I use double pedals and can keep up to many of the fast metal drummers out there. I strive most when playing metal (almost any sub-genre is good for me), but I can definitely slow it down and play some rock or punk or even softer genres.
