Hey people! I was just re-referred to this site, as a way to hook-up with like-minded musicians in the Guelph/Kitchener area. So, lets try this again, shall we? I'm 25, male, and a student at the UoG. I play guitar, both acoustic and electric. I have been for 6-7 years, but I've been in music for a LONG time more. Because of my lack of partners, I've been practicing more with my acoustic, than my electric. However, if people show some interest, I'm a dedicated player, and will practice the hell out of any songs given to me. I have my own equipment, no worries there. I wouldn't mind an original band, but I think a tribute/cover band would be a good way to get comfortable/started with new people. I am also a vocalist, which could allow for some flexibility. If anyone's interested in a tribute band, I'd suggest an Alice in Chains band, because I feel they don't have any legit representation around the tri-city area.
