Influences
Influences range from Jazz masters such as Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Pat Metheny (and on and on...) to Blues masters like Joe Bonamassa, Eric Clapton, BB King(again, on and on) to Alternative/art rockers like Tool, Big Wreck, Our Lady Peace, Thornley, Creed, Radiohead... and on and on. I believe it is important to be influenced by many styles, therefore I try to listen to and play as many styles as I can!
EQUIPMENT
I currently own a full Pearl World series kit(solid Birch) manufactured in the mid 80s. This kit is complimented with a Pearl floating snare with a solid metal shell(Great sound!) as well as Tama leaning hardware and Paiste cymbals. I use Yamaha Pedals.
I also have an assortment of Studio equipment for recording. This includes Digidesigns DIGI 002 recording interface, yamaha monitord for mixing, Behringer Condenser Mic, M-Audio Keyboard for synth and midi triggering, a Novation Remote-SL MIDI control surface for use with Ableton Live 8, Reason 4, and Logic. Main recording Software is Pro Tools 7.4.
