My name is Alex I am an Alt/Indie Pop artist originally from Newfoundland. I relocated here to Calgary and I am looking to start a band to play my originals around downtown Calgary.

The ultimate goal is to build up enough steam from these shows to start touring and swing into a fulltime career as a musician. I have been a an artist for the last 5 years and to date have put out over 30+ songs independently. My debut self-produced concept album 'Charlie' just came out and can be streamed here:

I sing, play guitar, bass, a bit of drums, keyboard, etc. I have been playing music for 15+ years and its only in the last 5 that I began writing and recording! I have been in several bands which only ended because of my moving away, I know how to work well with others!

Ideally I want musicians who are comfortable gigging and also comfortable playing for very little to no money, Its a slow grind to get going but I am confident in my music. I need a band that is equally confident and excited!

Once I start getting paid gigs I am happy to share the revenue with you of course! Additionally would love to start recording some originals with a live band in studio once we develop enough traction.
