ABOUT
Here in Sussex we have a Memory Cafe, the last Sunday afternoon of each month. It is sponsored by the NB Alzheimers Society. We are not in it for profit but because we want to provide a place where people caring for those with Alzheimers and dementia, with their loved ones and caregivers, can come and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, enjoy refreshments and be entertained by music for part of the time. The rest of the time may be spent listening to somone with something relevant to tell the rest of the group re Alzheimers (maximum 15 monutes. The music side is important and we would like to find willing musicians to donate their time, maybe an hour once every now and again. They may be singers, or just players, not metal, not brass bands though!
