Hi! I'm Amanda and I've loved music my whole life. I've been singing ever since I could talk, and I took piano lessons from the age of 4 until high school. I did choir all through school as well as in the community, and I took individual vocal lessons in high school. I also taught myself to play guitar and ukulele. About 4 years ago I started going to open mics, and I started doing gigs as a solo act (just me and a guitar), but I've always wanted to be in a band! I love all kinds of music but I typically gravitate most towards pop, alt-pop, rock, and country. I'm currently working as a teacher so I have lots of availability on evenings and weekends.

Influences
My favourite type of music is anything where I can feel the artist's soul in the song and the song tells a story. I also love when the artist has some rasp in their voice, and I try to emulate that in my vocal performances! Some examples of this are Teddy Swims, Hozier, Jelly Roll, Benson Boone, and Lewis Capaldi. Some female artists I'm influenced by include people like Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Alanis Morrisette, Olivia Rodrigo, and Chappell Roan.
