Played many gigs over the years, took a break to raise the kids and now they're older and I want to start taking my music to the next level of recording and touring and see where that goes. It would be great to collaborate with like-minded musicians wanting to write and gig on the weekends (and the odd weekday) with a bunch of talented musicians, great cover tunes and throw in a few originals. Types of events I play are cabarets, rodeos, weddings, bars, corporate events, and the odd acoustic coffee shop show (although I prefer the dancing crowd). Mostly play country old and new, I like to throw in a few classic rock and pop songs in to mix it up.

Influences
Anyone that finds passion in what they do, whether it's as a musician or a mathematician is an inspiration. The styles of songs by the likes of Miranda Lambert, Pistol Annies, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, the Dixie Chicks is what I am drawn to. I tend to sing a lot of songs that are originally done by males as I really like the drive and rhythm that you just don't find in many female songs.

I have some personal equipment like a bose stick and a 12 channel board, a couple powered and passive monitors but nothing to really run a whole band.
