ABOUT

VFS graduate of sound design for visual media with some audio engineering at RAC; Classically and jazz trained at the McGill U Schulich School of music in piano and voice.

Very knowledgeable in audio postproduction and music composition, production, editing, recording, sound design and mixing in stereo Dolby 5.1 surround and Atmos.

Have performed mostly solo Classical piano, large choir and orchestral concerts with some experience in jazz and rock bands as a singer and keyboardist.

Looking to form a band with elements of alt punk pop rock and other genres, (these days I write and want to sound like fontaines dc/ the national/ Gorillaz/ Stromae) with some sound design and 80s synths).

I have another unpublished album and EP of more developed music and lyrics closer to what I intend, as the uploaded vocal songs here were improvised and recorded in single takes at the crack of dawn with my backup equipment while I was moving back here from out west, while the instrumentals were designed for video game trailers and do not reflect my personal ongoing taste. Am open to other styles and covers.

Too many, but these days Fontaines DC, the National, and anything indie, 80s pop, 90s alt punk rock. A few staples off the top of my head are Journey, Berlin, Starship, U2 (Achtung Baby, Joshua tree), TV on the radio, Radiohead, Dave Matthew’s, Tragically Hip, Van Halen, Bjork, Peter Bjorn and John, Angel Olson, Mitski, Sinead O’Connor, the Cranberries, Blur, Gorillaz, Fourtet, Laura Brannigan, Sarah McLachlan, Holly Cole, Anita Oday…
