SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
I teach music as a day job. I am looking for something mainly for fun so I admit to being picky. although I intensely miss the fun of playing guitar with others so I am motivated to get out there again. I would do rock/country/blues or whatever bands, jazz guitar with anything duo, acoustic folksy stuff, ukulele groups, light and easy classical guitar stuff etc. I am not big on metal or punk. I love those genres too, I just am not keen on playing them.

Influences
Diverse influences range from jazz, classical, folk, rock and blues. I especially love those hybrid bands/musicians that transcend the idea of "genre" and simply play "music." With that said, I can get down with rock, country, blues, or whatever and play the gig without getting too weird. I know what fits.

EQUIPMENT
A range of electric guitars that cover the Gibson to Fender tones with smaller 20 to 30 watt tube amps. No giant stacks here. For the most part, my pedal board just covers the basics as they are needed. I like lower level pro gear, not the crazy expensive boutique stuff. Acoustics: dreadnought steel string & a classical guitar. Ukes: high G, Low G, (if you know what I mean.)
