Have just formed a new band with a vocalist. Initial focus on our interpretations of jazz standards, maybe some originals. Looking for percussionist/ cajon / drummer...and a bassist. My background isn't pure jazz; so someone with blues, funk and some rock background could be a good fit too.
Want to compose some songs, and do variations of covers. Hopefully go to some open mic nights...maybe record and get some stuff on youtube.
