Vocalist.ABOUT
I'm a male Country Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist in my early 50's. I write, sing and play country music. Along with some nice equipment, (Guitars, Amps, Mics, Shakers, PreSonus Studio One, H2N Recorder & Stage Props) I have space to rehearse at in Chilliwack. My goal is to entertain in our local senior retirement homes and local events with some good old fashioned down to earth Country/Folk, covers and originals.
I am seeking a female back up singer to learn my songs, (SEE LISTINGS BELOW). If you can play an instrument, (Accoustic/Keyboards) that would be nice too but not necessary. I'm free to rehearse on most any day in the afternoons or evenings at my home in Chilliwack.
I am a N/S, social drinker and drug free. Should this interest you, drop me a hello stating your experience, contact info and availability. Please live in or near Chilliwack as commuting won't work.
Some older country/folk songs I play are:
Red River Valley, I'm so lonesome I Could Cry, I Walk The Line, Ring of Fire, Folsom Prison Blues, Help Me, Take Me Home Country Roads, Kiss An Angel Good Morning, Amazing Grace, One Day At a Time, Battle of New Orleans, Swing Low Sweet Chariot, Green Green Grass of Home, Hey Good Lookin', This Little of Mine, Cotton Fields, Bad Moon a Rising, Lodi, Who'll Stop The Rain, Jambalaya, Okie From Muskogee, It's All Going To Pot, Good Luck Charm, Can't Help Falling In Love, Don't Be Cruel, You Are My Sunshine, Sundown, House of The Rising Sun, Mamas Don't Let Your Babes Grow Up To Be Cowboys, Hello Mary Lou, Me And Bobby McGee, Help Me Make It Through The Night, For Lovin' Me, Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain, Good Hearted Woman, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Play Me The Waltz of The Angels, Wasn't That a Party, Old Time Rock and Roll, Johnny Be Goode, Peaceful Easy Feeling and more.
Cheers!
