ABOUT

I'm looking to join/start a band with a lead guitarist/lead vocalist and a drummer to play rock songs from the last 20 years as a power trio. I'm a keyboard player first and foremost but play bass as well.

I have good backing vocals and would prefer a drummer with backing vocals too. I’m looking for a lead guitarist/vocalist who has a great vocal range and can solo with ease.

My set up is unique. I have two keyboards in front of me on stage. I run my keyboards (the bass sounds only) and my bass through a Fishman Fission pedal that splits the signal into a guitar tone (root note, 5th above and octave above). This signal goes into a guitar amp with compression and overdrive while the bass signal goes into my bass amp. It sounds just like a rhythm guitar when the lead player is soloing. If a song calls for keys, I can use my left hand on the keys playing bass notes that can be split as above while my right hand plays keys/pads through the keyboard amp/mains, etc. It’s a monster wall of sound!

I’m looking for serious players/pros that can turn it up on stage too in terms of showmanship...think of Rikki Rocket drummer of Poison and Myles Kennedy, Ian Thornley, Joel O’Keefe (Airbourne) for singers/lead guitarists.
