Bassist looking for Musicians !! and or a Band ?
From around Guelph , Kitchener, Cambridge .Acton , Erin, area and so on .
Bottom line , I am an Agile dynamic "Rock Fusion" Bass player...
I'm looking for guys and or gals with good chops and equipment . with good attitude that might be interested in improv jamming to start, to see if we have any chemistry. because i would like to incorporate that into the band and the material We chouse , of coarse with in reason. Forming a band is what my end goal is. Or to joining a Band !!
My playing fits best in a 3 or 4 piece band , been doing that most of my life . I do enjoy playing in a Heavy Progressive Blues Rock format and or a tough progressive blues band that can step out side in the jazz and Heavy rock world a little to the left a little to the right .
I will cover any song as long it is with an original approach , lets make it ours . I do not want to play In a note for note copy band . Oh don't get me wrong , i love playing in a tight well rehearsed band . there are jam bands and then there bands that like to jam . so an original style of playing could be an asset but not necessary as long as you can groove. all are welcome .
Most important out of all this is i'm looking for a good bunch of people to jam with to have fun and if it clicks ,form a band to play out at least once or twice a month.
I posted 25 tracks of a few different genres that i played bass on over the last 25 years or so .To demonstrate my versatile as a bass player, so you can hear how i interact with the other instruments playing structured songs as well as the improvised playing . Roots Blues , Modern Blues , psychedelic Rock, Rock , Metal , Funk , Fusion , Prog Rock ,Southern Rock ,Jazz rock, Folk PoP Country and some hard core Metal is cool ...anything that is some what intelligent I love music . i am kind of repeating my self here but in the last 50 years i have played in bands in all genres mentioned above ...to many bands to list... i'm open to what you might bring to the table too . I'm just looking to see where i fit in :))
