ABOUT

I am looking for musicians interested in forming a band or joining bands that are already in progress and seeking a rock and pop singer. I have over twenty years of experience here in Brazil, and I’m thinking about spending about a month in Toronto to play with a band, make new connections with local artists, and maybe even stay there. My plan is to arrive around July of 2025; however, I can come earlier if necessary.

I had a brief stint in San Francisco, California, in 2018/19, where I played in some local bars and pubs. Here in Brazil, I have been performing since my twenties in bars, restaurants, and major shows throughout the region. With my band, RH Positivo, I have recorded several albums and singles over the years.

I am a musician who takes the art of singing very seriously and prioritizes taking good care of my voice. I am forty-two years old and can still sing songs in their original keys, reaching high notes using techniques I have developed throughout my life. I also play the guitar and compose songs.

Influences

My influences range from Elvis and the Beatles to contemporary artists like Coldplay, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, among others. The great rock bands of the 80s also had a huge influence on my life as a musician, always singing songs by artists like Bon Jovi, U2, Pearl Jam, Deep Purple, Guns 'N' Roses, AC/DC, Skid Row, Metallica, REM, among others, in my shows. Country music has also always been around, as I enjoy listening to it a lot and it makes me feel very good.
