Our band the Wild youth was born out of the passion and love of music, that myself and my good friend Jeff have shared together since high school, which we indulged in by being in various bands together throughout high school. The conception of the band came up after a hang out session listening to music, and feeling the inspiration to start something. From their we decided that we needed to be in a band and live out this burning passion to write and perform, and really commit to writing great songs.we were born out of very organic circumstances, knowing in our hearts that writing and performing is what we were ment to do in life. and from their The Wild Youth was born

our influences range from Mumford and sons, the avett brothers, johnny Flynn, Laura marling, Nathaniel rateliff to the strokes, vampire weekend,shout out louds, the cure pretty much our influences range from just about any artistic medium, we accept influence and inspiration can come very everywhere and very much embrace this ideal
