Mature, experienced bass/guitar/mandolin player seeking to join or form a band aspiring to get tight and play corporate and better pub gigs.
Party music with a few mixed in slow numbers always goes down well. If the crowd is enjoying the show, it’s fun for the band.
My personality:
I am friendly, respectful, positive, have good gear, wheels, work/team ethic and attitude as well as decades of live performance experience. Not a substances guy but not a Puritan either. Just as long as we can get some work done...
Musical preferences:
Pretty flexible but prefer crowd-oriented party music like blues, r and b, classic rock, 80’s, country, Top 40, 2000-2018 stuff, etc. I can’t say that metal, jazz, heavy rap, etc are my thing though...we all have preferences and have to be comfortable with the music, right?
Prepping between rehearsals is important to me so we accomplish as much as possible when rehearsing.
Hoping to be gigging 1-4 times/month, ideally.
