Used to sight read, but have been lucky to smoothly play by ear.
Opened for Aldo Nova. Won two trips singing.
One to Jamaica, the other to Hollywood.
Used to fly to Toronto many times, to sit in with acclaimed Blues Lady, Jodi Drake & Kenny Ray Neal who was married to (from The Beachcomber series) Bruno Gerusi's daughter. Always played at Uptown Jazz Chic ñ Deli on Mt.Pleasant & also at Leow's Westbury on Yonge.
Been in Bands with very experienced players for many years. Hoping for the same calibre of players.
If I'm needed to be a backup singer, I'm fine with that. Solid harmonies.
No drama. I dont drink etc while rehearsing or playing. Not a good combination for me. Up to you as long as performance isnt affected.

I learned how to perfect my falsetto from Slim Whitman's records.
I taught myself blues harmonica from James Cotton, Henry McCullogh, William Clarke, etc.
