ABOUT

I am a professional Scottish drummer who has relocated from Scotland to Belleville, Ontario. I studied music performance (drums and guitar) at the University of Highlands & Islands in Scotland before joining UK punk band ‘Subvision’. We toured over europe with acclaimed punk bands such as Discharge, GBH, Exploited, Subhumans and Extreme Noise terror, Conflict, Angelic upstarts, Cro-mags, Steve ignornant & more. I would describe my style as playing what the song needs. They’re are times when it’s fun to be technical however, the SONG is what matters most over capabilities. I am usually hired not only for my ability to learn songs but more commonly, to write and record drum tracks. I have a well rounded and trained ear which leads me to write parts which enhance the mood/feel of a song. My sessions have been a fairly well rounded mixture of genre’s including Rock, RnB, pop, Progressive, Country and World music however, my heart lies with the Punk & Metal genre

I am ideally looking for a touring/semi professional band in the punk/metal genre however when i am not playing metal material i find myself gravitating towards writing acoustic music and creating custom backing tracks for vocalists wishing to do covers with a twist of their choice or required style! I may even sing in a scottish accent if asked nicely!
