I started my musical endeavors at the age of 8. Studying Piano under various teachers under the Royal Conservatory of Music, I quickly began to understand the Love, Determination, and the Passion for music. At the age of 18, I became a Teacher Assistant at Arcadia Academy of Music, who later became an instructor at Cariati School of Music, having won the “Teacher Award” from 1992-1996. Being an affiliate teacher of the Royal Conservatory of Music, I later went on to start my own music school under the name of J.D. Music Productions, a musical training facility for Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Band Performance, Theory and preparations for the RCM examinations.
During my time as an instructor, my original band Fieldbabys played in most venues in the greater Toronto area. At the same time, performing Piano and Guitar for the popular “Pino Cea Band” at weddings, corporate functions (both in Canada and the U.S.) outdoor festivals held at Canada’s Wonderland and Ontario Place. In 1997, I attended Trebas Institute and graduated as an Audio Engineer having done some work in various Toronto recording facilities and having done extensive Live sound productions.
Having spent 4 years as an employee at Long & McQuade Musical Instruments, I have worked with various Toronto bands that include Fieldbabys, Zebra Mussels, Volatile and the Sarah Pacheco band.
On the other side of my artistic realm, i enjoy riding my motorcycle. “The most rewarding part of my job is watching my students perform live, watching their accomplishments come to life.” With all my dedication and determination in taking advantage of every second the day gives you, I still maintain his teaching schedule to my dedicated students.

Having written numerous original songs, my musical atmosphere is influenced by many musicians in the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde, Black Label Society, CCR, Guns N’ Roses. Randy Rhoads, Alter Bridge, Godsmack, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Jesse Cook and Ottmar Liebert.
