I am classically trained since I was a child singing with choral groups, and was a member of a small choral group that competed nationally and obtained a gold medal standing.... I am moving into working with bands.... I have been doing that for a few years now but still don't consider myself an "experienced"... I have sang with bands as a feature, and had formed a band that sadly disbanded becuase of people having to move out west and lack of commitment on others.... Something I am sure you've experienced.
When I show up to rehersals... it's just that a rehersal not a practice.... I show up prepared with the material learned.... I am very open minded and encourage people to give me advice.... I can't get better if I don't just shut up and listen... I have ZERO ego!!!
I have some videos on YouTube one is just an evening at home and was bored.... the other was my first time with a band at a gig... It's under Crys Fisher... When people describe my voice people say definetly blusey but in trying to compare it to another vocalist people seem to struggle.
I want to have have fun, but focused and know when to bunker down and do the work!
