I guess I'm a musician of sorts because I create music and lyrics, but I don't do it on purpose. The ideas just pop in my head and I write them down. I've created so many full songs and bits of songs over the past decade that I thought it was time to take it to the next level.

Influences
I started out being a Beatles fanatic, only listening to anything connected directly to the Beatles (Julian Lennon, Traveling Wilburies, Jeff Lynn). I've grown out of that limited view and have a wide appreciation for any music that catches my ear. I can't say anything directly influenced the music that pops in my head, but I find the music I listen to very inspirational.
EQUIPMENT
I used to hum into a microcassette recorder until I decided to buy Magix Music Maker 14 for my computer and download various instrument samples to create something a tad more impressive than humming.
