I am primarily a guitar player but dable with base and vocals. I have two solo music projects where I write, record and perform almost all the instruments. I primarily play in a Drop-C tuning but know standard. I am very proficient and comfortable in all time signatures including songs that change throughout.

www.facebook.com/surfaceofthesun is my main project and is strictly progressive metal/rock. I have a full length album released for this project that has been available on iTunes and other online music stores since 2011.

Www.facebook.com/sevenacresmusic is my second project to allow me to write music in any other genre. Currently I only have hard rock songs released under this project but have some from solo acoustic guitar, piano ballad, radio pop and alternative in the works. I have a 2 song EP for this project that has been for sale on iTunes and other online stores for about 2 years now.

At this time I am looking only to get some live experience and not necessarily looking to write. Preferable this would mean playing with a group that already has songs and writers or perhaps a cover group. I am not overly picky about the type of music and am remaining open to options. While I have been playing for many years this has not involved being in a live setting or spending much time playing with others. However, I am a quick learner.

I am not interested in playing with those who like to get drunk or stoned while playing.

My musical taste covers almost every genre but my primary influences are on the heavier side of things such as: Tool, A Perfect Circle, Chevelle, Karnivool. However, I have two solo music projects I work on which allows my to write music in many genres.

I am a recording musician and have access to a fully loaded recording studio. At the time of writing this I do not have a live amp but will purchase one as soon as it is needed.
