I'm looking for an upright bassist to compliment an established acoustic instrumental jazz quartet. Should be comfortable improvising in a range of styles from traditional to contemporary. The musicians in the group have a variety of other rehearsal/gigging commitments aside from this, so for someone that could commit one evening every other week (apart from scheduled gigs), the commitment need not be onerous.
