my buddy and I, are a super solid rhythm section, and are looking to start up a band to play the better paying bars and also the nicer rooms of winnipeg. we have been playing together since 1997, we are in our 20s and early 30s.
also have connections without agent cuts to play the odd out of town gigs, so occasional travel is a must. we are aiming to play out of town once every 4 or 5 weeks, simply because the pay is so much better. you will be looked after.
we are looking for a lead vocalist-if female bonus.... rhythm and/or lead guitar player.
we don't play high or drunk, looking for players who play straight as well. we are into this to make some cash on weekends and above all.... to have FUN. we been in too many bar bands that are full or drama, egos, drunks, stoners.... its not fun. hence why we are starting from the ground up to find local dudes and dudettes who have respect and laid back personalities.
we play EVERYTHING from hard rock, classic rock, the occasional 1 or 2 country songs and bar songs that actually get us the gigs.
please, no flakes or drama queens.
