SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Above all, band should be fun for the members and a good time for the audience. Ideally that means weekly band practice and one or two gigs per month.
I've been playing electric guitar since 1975. I used to be quite good and play flashy rock stuff, but now I'm just pretty okay. I dabble with lots of other instruments. I'm classically trained as a violinist and an orchestral composer/arranger (I know more music theory than is healthy for anyone), but tend to ignore that stuff when playing guitar. I'm a good bgnd singer (range E2 to E5, with a weird break around B3), and I have a good ear for multipart harmonies. I'm recently trying to develop into a passable main vocalist. People say I'm a nice guy - reliable and not a jerk. I look for the same in other people.
We should try jamming together sometime. You can email me at "drdburn atg mail" anytime

Influences
I have extremely wide tastes in music, and draw from hard rock, prog, punk, new wave, jazz, and modern stuff. I like to play just about anything from 1960 - 2000. My classical tastes are equally wide

EQUIPMENT
I play a Les Paul and a Strat, and a nice but cheap acoustic guitar. I sold my Marshall stack and Mesa Boogie and now use a small Roland Cube. I sometimes just use a TC Helicon emulator direct into the board. I also have a banjo and of course a couple good violins (which can be played fiddle-style sometimes).
I also have studio equipment for mixing/production (I spent lockdown piecing together asynchronous music videos with some buddies, and ambient chill music on my own).
