Former f/t career drummer. Have played nearly every imaginable venue for crowds between bar staff and 12,000. Interested in a variety of possible situations, Basically anything from jamming for fun to touring with established acts.

In case it matters - non-drinker, no drugs, non-smoker and 'check your ego at the door' type. I don't judge others, though after several negative experiences over the years - it's easy to appreciate sober/ sober-ish musicians when performing.

Most important is playing with good musicians, good people and enjoying the situation regardless the project. From touring with a classic rock band to rehearsing for fun, writing, recording, playing club gigs or legitimate benefits, it’s all good.

Influences

Too many influences to list. Classic rock drummer at heart but also into lots of bands and artists from classic pop, AOR, jazz, hard rock, Latin styles, etc.

My earlier and most long-lasting influences include bands like Fleetwood Mac, America, Beatles, Alice Cooper, Stones, Abba, Aerosmith, Stevie Wonder, Heart, Steve Earle, Cheap Trick, Steve Winwood, Deep Purple, Zeppelin, Rush, Kate Bush, Bowie, Burton Cummings, John Coltrane, Beach Boys, Merle Haggard, Bob Marley, Paul Simon, Miles Davis, Dwight Yoakam, Van Halen, Steely Dan, Toto …. I could go on for the next month with this.

Influenced or at least inspired by many great drummers including Steve Gadd, Vinnie Colaiuta, Max Roach, Bun E Carlos, Bernard Purdie, Jeff Porcaro, Matt Cameron, Keith Carlock, Bonham, Watts, Alex Van Halen, David Garibaldi, Joey Kramer, Ringo, and many others.
