I am part of a group of Co-op musicians that play together in various group/s in the Comox Valley. The Co-op group mixes and matches players according to interests and compatibility. An identifiable problem within any group that plays together, is that we occasionally require other musicians to join our group if something is missing in our sound production. (The need of a missing part be it Vocalist or Instrumentalist)
Our group music styles range from Originals to Charts. Our greatest group asset is the friendship bonds we make with each other, acknowledging that we are all on a continuous striving for good sound, musical learning curve. At times we play publicly but mostly we dedicate our weekly time to creating and eventually recording the music we play.
As individual artists we are committed in playing together 1 or more times per week. Mostly on nights but days also work if it's possible.
