ABOUT

Hi there! My name is Emma, and I am primarily a bass player however I occasionally play the bass and have sang Alto in numerous ensembles (choir, a cappella, bands).I would love to jam, play and meet other musicians with a similar taste! Moved to downtown Toronto in 2022 and am pretty new to the scene here, let's connect.

My past experience with bands started in high school where I joined the school rock band, jazz band and orchestra playing the bass and singing. I have been singing in choirs since I was in elementary school, continuing to this day. After joining university, I have sung in an all women's a cappella group, a women's chamber ensemble, and two cover bands. One band was a classic rock cover band that I created called The Coasters, where I was lead singer. My primary band is called Mint, a funky cover band that I play bass for, ranging from Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder to Jamiroquai and Frank Ocean.
