Hey, I'm a singer-songwriter-guitarist-harmonica player, moving to Saskatoon in January 2023 and looking to put together an alt-roots-rock band. If you play lead guitar the way Reeves Gabrels (Bowie/The Cure) plays guitar (or the way the lead guitarist for Maya Hawke's band plays guitar), get in touch. If you play percussion/drums the way Stephen Morris (Joy Division) or Stewart Copeland (The Police) play percussion/drums, get in touch. If you play cello or violin super well but also in an outside-the-box style with fx, maybe like Nigel Kennedy or like Warren Ellis (Dirty Three), get in touch. And if you sing harmonies the way Emmy Lou Harris, Joy Williams (The Civil Wars), or Marketa Irglova (The Swell Season) sing harmonies, get in touch. I hear Saskatoon has a great folk / roots-rock scene, so I look forward to hearing from you!
