Located in beautiful West Kelowna British Columbia, on the side of Mount Boucherie a dormant volcano. Empire Sonic is dedicated to providing the perfect creative environment and technology to give artists the best experience and product possible. The studio was built to suit Okanagan Locals and to be a destination recording facility for artists from all over Canada and the world! Within walking distance from world class wineries, the studio offers a gazebo and deck to enjoy the breath taking view and Okanagan sun to clear your head between recordings.
All of the walls floors and ceilings are unparalell to maximize sonic reflections and kill standing waves.
The floor plan and interstudio wiring allows for ultimate versatility. As an example, the drummer can be fully isolated in the live room with 2 other members in side by side booths with full visual and audio communication between the three. The "amp closet" allows a guitar or bass player to plug into and isolate an amplifier giving the opportunity to record the saturated tube sound with absolute minimal mic bleed, and a clear headphone mix that will capture the feeling of a live jam with the clarity and mixing options of recording overdubs. Saving time and creating a superior product.
