Vancouver-based singer/songwriter looking to fill out some original songs with additional musicians. Classically trained on piano and flute, self-taught guitar/ukulele, I can sightread and follow along by ear. I've got about a dozen originals I've been working on the last year and want to put together an album. My husband plays bass, ideally looking for a drummer and lead guitarist. Backup vocals would be neat but not essential. Songs are pretty standard folk/indy compositions, nothing electronic or too eclectic. Easy listening, relatable lyrics. I've played a million open mics, looking for a bigger stage and longer set.
