ABOUT
FXRRVST (pronounced ‘forest’) is Matthew Fuentes and Holly Forrest, an Australian/Canadian indie-duo formed in September 2015 after Holly moved to Toronto. The two play guitar and sing in the band with the occasional ukulele or glockenspiel. The two met it August through a mutual friend, and immediately began to work together to create music in the basement Holly was living in. FXRRVST began to play any shows possible as soon as they had enough songs. Their first shows mostly consisted of open mics in Mississauga until they began to get recognised within the music scene there, giving them other opportunities in downtown Toronto.
