Our band, Best Day Never, is a 4 piece that plays rock, classic rock, punk, alt country, with a few metal and country tunes thrown into the mix. We also have a cd worth of originals that we are slowly working on recording which are in the rock-pop-punk genre along with 40+ covers we play which are all bar friendly, danceable stuff. Our current lead guitar player is unable to continue on after the end of May(2014) so we are now actively looking for a replacement.
We are all family/career guys that understand those priorities comes 1st and we work around these to make the band work. We are looking for someone preferably in their 30s-40's that is ego and drama free, stable, outgoing, has own quality gear and transportation and is not looking for rock stardom or making a living at this, but still wants to get together, have a few pops and rock out. We are all very easy going guys that enjoy a few pops and sick humour while at the same time putting in the time and effort needed. We welcome all input for songs, ideas, originals, etc. from everyone. Jam space with PA is always available. Vocals are a bonus but not a requirement. We don't play the most difficult songs in the world but your own unique style on lead guitar and ideas you bring to the table is what we are looking for. We practice once a week, usually wed nights(more if needed) and like to gig once or twice a month as schedules permit.
