Go Amy hosts a monthly show on the third Sunday of every month at Hayden Block in Kensington from 2:30-5:30 with 3-4 other bands. Setlists are from 30-45 minutes.
This show is unpaid but does come with some free drinks. Go Amy is ramping up though with a few paid gigs booked in Canmore at the Mineshaft coming up in the next few months. We would love to have a permanent bassist, we've been using stop-gap musicians so far.
Our skill level is moderate, we're not looking for an expert, just someone dependable and who fits in. Bonus points if you can sing backup as well.
The ideal bassist for us is someone who has a WIDE range in musical tastes as we play pretty much anything and everything, country, rock, alt, folk, Celtic, punk and on and on. All covers.
We practice once per week on average, usually in North Calgary.

EQUIPMENT
We have a practice space and most equipment required to play shows or we rent extra equipment where needed.
Our bassist would need a bass amp and guitar.
