Grimleal is a symphonic black/melodic death metal band formed by Ezekiel Nigma (who operates under the stagename Grima Fellblood in the band), from Cambridge, Ontario, that has progressive, power, and folk metal influences. The music, lyrics, and aesthetic, is inspired by and about Fire Emblem.
The songs in our profile were recorded by Ezekiel Nigma and a session vocalist before the other members had joined, as the band had originally started out as a one-man project that was formed during the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic back in late 2019-early 2020.
