So i've always been told that i have a really unique sound to my voice, not that its a bad thing, we can all name at least one band whose vox doesnt sound how most people do, and we like them still because thats the point. I was listening to the fever to tell version of man by the yeah yeah yeahs and found out that when i talk i sound like karen o. i dont know if i could do that weird thing she does with her voice though... (still terribly jealous!) Lyrics are easy for me. Im really hard into poetry and i swear to god i have no idea how most of the stuff i write ends up sounding so good or how it is i can pump out stuff so quicky.
i was in choir and have been in a few musicals as well, i only quit choir because i got really bad bronchitis and sounded like i was going to die via coughing up a lung. Sometimes it still affects me but thats very very rarely.
im aware i have no samples, ive moved way too many times this year but plan on staying put. You know what kind of thing youre looking for, so if you really want a sample, name me a song and i might just record one for you. dont expect a real high quality audio file though...

Influences
lots and lots of british electronic bands, grunge, a good deal of indie/alternative as well as punk bands too. I'll listen to anything so long as (they scream well enough that i can still tell what theyre saying and) its not rap or country. Run DMC and some other old school i can handle, i've also never had a nit to pick with Ludacris? i dono.
