SEEKING
Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Keyboard.ABOUT
Band with female lead vocals in their 40's,50's looking for a second guitarist and/or keys player with vocals (to share duties with existing guitarist and lead singer) who is comfortable playing rock from the 60's through current day.
We'd like someone who grew up listening to the great album oriented rock for the last few decades but isn't afraid to try some newer stuff or songs that didn't get worn out on radio.
A guitar/keys player with good backing vocals and the ability to switch between as needed would be a huge asset.
While fun is the main goal we take playing seriously enough to want to practice regularly and be good at it as well. Ideally only someone who is already a fan of the music and era described above and wants to be part of a band should contact us. We're not looking for jobbers.
Looking to practice weekly and gig not much more than monthly with a solid bunch of tunes. Message at mris66 at the mail which is not cold.

Influences
Main influence is guitar oriented "arena" rock from the 60's to current, Blues based music, Americana and some softer tunes that don't suck.
Song list tends to revolve around 70's-90's rock especially where female vocals are featured in addition to some great rock classics where a female can hit those notes that the guys who sang them originally can't do anymore!
EQUIPMENT
Pro level guitars and amps.
