I found my guitar buddy on here (Profile link: https://www.bandmix.ca/gamernerdjodie/) We have an EP concept ready to go and are in the works of writing. We're looking for a drummer now. I realize there is an incredibly limited roster of females playing this instrument in Halifax but women only please. We're cool with you being basic to intermediate so long as you want to work and catch up technically. We, ourselves, are just getting back into the game and are trying to tighten ourselves up so you'll be in good company to learn. I've been a guitarist in a couple of bands. First was more alt-rock with a bunch of guys, the second was an all-girl punk band. I love playing riot girl styles and progressive rock but I really want to focus on creating soundscapes with guitars, keys, piano, and please give me a reason to rent a harp already. If we jive, we'd love to commit to getting together at least once a week.
P.s I just moved to Halifax last spring and I'm about an hour north of the city. I have a dedicated music room in my house that I'd prefer we use to jam or record. Ideally you have a vehicle so that you can carpool with our other band mate.

We are both hugely influenced by movie and videogame themes, fantasy concepts, orchestral movements, etc.

EQUIPMENT
I don't have a professional recording studio by any means but I do have an interface, microphone, amp/guitar hookup, many guitars, pedal board, digital piano, ableton, logicx, and my boyfriend has drums, bass, anything else we might need. My guitar buddy also has a synth we could mess with.
