ABOUT

In my 40s, and looking to get back into it - mostly for the fun of it, but if the chemistry is right I'd be willing to put in the full effort and do shows.

Started with Piano by ear around 5 years old, and took 7 years of lessons.
Self-taught rhythm guitar, trombone, and some percussions.
Started singing at about 4 years old and never stopped.

Have been in a few bands, although all were short-lived.
Have participated in several contests, open mic nights, and jam sessions for about a decade. Usually as a vocalist.

Just really wanna get back into making music with people and getting that "damn!!!!" feeling when you finish up a good track.

Influences

I can't really list influences. I fell in love with music on 50s / 60s artists from car rides with my parents when I was very young. Then my uncle helped me discover some 60s/70s rock bands that brought me to a whole new appreciation. By 10 years old the 90s hit and I found an entire new world of sound.
I also greatly appreciate country, pop, r&b and more.

There's too much to narrow it down to specific artists - for me personally.

EQUIPMENT

I'd have to get set up with equipment again.
I currently have an Acoustic-Electric guitar, but no amp, or mic at the moment.
I do also have an authentic mini djembe.
