I’m looking to form or join a band.
I’m in my mid thirties, I play lead guitar, and can do back up vocals and lead vocals if required. I have experience playing live and in the studio for recording.
My personal music taste is thrash metal, hard rock, punk. However, I have played multiple genres live, such as blues, country, classic rock from a wide variety of bands and different eras. Influences include Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Kirk Hammett, Dave Mustaine, Tom Morello, Tony Iommi and Zakk Wylde.
Previous experience of playing in a rock cover band for 6 years, where we played regular gigs at venues, bars, events.
Previous experience playing in a country cover band for 2 years, performed some shows, and played various positions other than lead guitar (bass, drums, and occasional piano).
Previous experience playing in an original punk/metal band for 3 years where we recorded and played some live shows.
I would be interested in jam and/or weekend warrior type of gigs. I do have a regular day job.
I would be interested in playing/practicing from Rockland to St Eugene, from Grenville to Maxville area. I would be willing to perform gigs outside of that area.
I would prefer to be part of a more rock oriented cover band, does not need to be exclusively that genre. I’m not interested in doing an original band at the moment, but depending on what it is, could be persuaded to do so.
I currently have my own guitars and amp, and microphone stand.
