35 year old Brit. I've been playing guitar since I was 14, gigging since I was 16 and singing since I was 18. I'm now in Vancouver and looking for relaxed, fun live music venues and bands that don't take themselves too seriously, but still pride themselves on playing well and having fun while they're dong it.
Blues venues, acoustic jam sessions, open mics, etc.

Influences
I was brought up with Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Dire Straits, Free, Bad Company, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Hendrix, and "proper" R&B artists like BB King, Muddy Waters, Robert Cray, SRV, etc.
Oasis brought me to the acoustic guitar and for the last 15 years I've been playing in bands back home mainly covering well known tunes from the '50s through to the '90s to a variety of live audiences.
EQUIPMENT
I only have a 2nd hand acoustic (no pick-up) guitar in-country for now. I'm still arranging for shipment of my other guitars from Britain.
