Niagara needs another "A" band! There are lots of festivals and some good clubs down here and I'd like to put together a band that could become very popular in this area. I'm a guitar player with some lead vocal and good backup vocal.....serious about quality of the band, but easy to work with and like to have lots of fun.....(just happen to think that good players pulling it together sounding great is lots of fun!)
Kind of a classic rock guy...but prefer tunes that not many others play...(bandmix would only let me check 4 genre boxes).
Wish list....vocal ability a definite plus for all....(probably particularly for lead vocalist!)
Looking for a good solid drummer with developed technique, good meter, good feel/dynamics and a good sense of what's needed, what's not needed and when. Vocal ability a
plus.
Bass player with all of the qualities that would fit with this drummer!
Keyboard player, preferably both piano and organ....even better, also synth. Same level of skill as drummer and bass player (ok, bassist....sorry)
Lead Vocal, good command of pitch, phrasing, dynamics.....good stage presence - can really connect with an audience.
Second guitar welcome - same basic qualities as the others....can trade off leads/rhythms.....all good with me.
Sax or other horns, percussionist, great backup vocals....all welcome.....the idea is not to work for minimum and split between as few as possible, but rather to warrant stronger dollars by making sure the music/show is very strong.

Influences
Lots....enjoy listening to Yes, Floyd, Beatles, Eagles, Steely Dan, Supertramp, Jackson Browne, Clapton......guitar influences are many, but most common (default) style is probably a mix of Gilmour and Clapton.
