Semi-Retired Pro: Last gig was at Duffy's in Dorval backing up an Elvis singer with David Devine (jam buddy) on drums. Last club appearance was Smoke Meat Pete's stage. Blues, Retro R&B, Blue-Eyed Soul, Fifties Rock & Roll, Crooner tunes, Soft-Rock, Jazz/Funk, stage name Barry Albert. Have done club, corporate, arena-rock or party gigs with Corky Laing from Mountain, Jimmy Ayoub from Mahogany Rush, Marty Simon, Peter Alves (Jam Buddy/Record Producer), Bobby Lee Silcott, Gina Seram, Jab-Jab, Tapestry.

Did Lead & Rhythm guitars and/or production on a couple of Top 20 Canadian chart singles released on Atlantic, Polydor, Bell, Can-Am and Quality Records. "Bartholomew plus Three" was signed to Atlantic Records, NY got a #80 on Billboard USA and went to Top 10 in every major city in Canada. We were clueless young kids who passed an audition then got signed and produced by Clapton's producer Felix Pappalardi (The Young Bloods & "Cream" albums) with legendary Tom Dowd as our recording engineer. Felix did keys and horns with us in the studio - single is the video at left. Corky Laing who was our drummer for 6 years wrote Mississippi Queen with Felix after we dissolved "B+3". Felix was the bass player and producer of "Mountain" with Corky on drums.

"Hands of the Clock" was released on Polydor created by myself under the name "Life" with different players. The new project made Billboard USA plus #19 across Canada. Have opened shows for James Brown, Herman's Hermits, Gene Pitney, The Association, The Loving Spoonful, Peter & Gordon, BJ Thomas, Chad & Jeremy, The McCoys with Rick Derringer, Johnny Maestro & The Crests/Brooklyn Bridge. Always ready to meet players around the Montreal area. Have good time, feel, phrasing and a pretty good sound.
