Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Electronic Music.ABOUT
Objective: Looking to start/join a band to write new material collaboratively, practice 1-3 times a week and play live. I would like to use my producing skills to record/mix our material and get some songs released!
Genre-wise I lean toward post-punk, new wave, classic punk rock, as well as electronic and mixing electronic with guitar/bass/drums.
Skills

Guitar: Playing since high school, solid rhythm player for any genre of rock. Can play metal/trash rhythm as well. Lead skills are ok, I can learn a solo if needed but it's not been something I've invested a lot of time in.
Bass: Also played since high school but this is my main focus in the last few years and preferred instrument. Solid pick and fingerstyle playing and love playing a good groove. Can do some tasteful slapping as well.
Synths/EDM: Very comfortable using synthesizers, building new patches from scratch to get the right sound, working with sequencers and connecting live gear via MIDI, programming and performing with drum machines.
Producing: Very knowledgeable of using Ableton Live for recording, mixing, sound design, tool for writing. Interested in using these skills on any future project to produce the band's music!
Songwriting: I'm good at coming up with catchy ideas, riffs, and grooves with parts for all instruments. I like writing bass lines that help drive a song and keep things interesting. I'm good at writing vocal harmonies as well. I'm not the greatest and arranging though, and have a tough time piecing ideas into complete songs - being able to jam ideas out with a band helps immensely with this though.
Vocals: Can sing lead or backup. Good at writing harmonies.
