Looking for musicians for a tight, fast, dynamic, improvisational band based around rhythms. There's music written which is riff based with opportunities for improvisation. All instruments welcome but looking for bass and percussion for a solid rhythm section as the foundation. I'm a sound designer by trade as well as a composer for mobile games.

Influences
Mahavishnu Orchestra is the closest similarity as they're tight, focused on musicianship, and with similar rhythmic patterns. Bad Brains as they're tight and fast which will also be a focus. The Police as theyre tight and fast also with a great rhythm section. I think you may be getting the picture. Miles Davis fusion circa '69 into the early mid 70s.
