ABOUT

**update** I have recently noticed that in order to actually contact anyone on here, I need to pay for a premium membership. my email address is jdurfey or starviewstudios if you are interested in contacting me.

I am a 35 yr old Guitarist from Guelph Ontario. I have played in a few bands before but concentrated mostly on home recording for the last 10 years and have released a few original albums doing the parts myself.

I am looking to meet some other local musicians to jam/write and possibly record with. I am very open to a lot of different styles and genres of music. While not being a "theory" player, I can hold my own with many others.

I do have fairly eclectic tastes and am looking for others who want to do some sonic exploration, and just to basically get out there and play some more with other musicians again.

EQUIPMENT

Fender Stratocaster with Roland GK3 midi pickup

Godin SD

Numerous Acoustic Guitars

Korg Toneworks AXG1500 guitar multiprocessor

Roland GR20 guitar synth

Boss RC-50 loop station

I have quite a bit of experience with home recording setups and many different DAW and VSTi programs.

I tend to use my midi guitar setup a lot along with "normal" guitar settings, giving me a very wide range of virtual instruments coming out live of the guitar.
