I play keyboards and do backup vocs.
Currently I am not actively looking to join a band but I would consider being part of a blues or blues/rock based project with musicians with similar calibre as me. I have shared a stage with the likes of Jack Lavin, Brandon Isaac, Corey Lavigne, Roy Thompson etc. I am of similar calibre to them. I would like to gig with this project at least once every couple of months and possibly more if things go well and original material would be a bonus. My history:
I took 7 years of conservatory training while growing up. I started playing in bands in my early 20s. Made a living at it for about 10 years. Then I got a day job and continued to play in (gigging) bands for another 15 years or so before moving to Vancouver area. Currently I play with:
"Under Fire", a classic rock cover band located in the Fraser valley. We currently gig on average 1 or 2 weekends a month. I've been with them since 2016.
"Roy Thompson and the Ringers", an eclectic blues-rock-jazz-fusion cover band that hosts the Bennett Craft and Kitchen blues jam about once a month and plays the odd pub gig here and there. I started playing with them in 2023.
