Born in Rwanda, Africa, raised by her single mother, Jerys moved to Toronto at the age of 6, and grew up in a household full of boys, 2 older brothers and one younger brother. Jerys began rapping at the age of 9 after hearing her brother rap. She thought it was cool at the time, and
just wanted to impress her older brother. As time went by Jerys started realising that she could actually tell a story through "rap", and by the age of 12 would write verses about everything and everyone she would encounter. Until, one day told that rapping can be a lucrative career. This encouraged her even further, and by the age of 15 she made a decision to follow her heart and do what made her happy. Nothing, or nobody would stop her! Not to be careless, Jerys took steps towards positioning herself to execute her career back up plan of taking law in University, being a good student and all.

If beats had wings this Artist would always be soaring above the clouds in song… Rapping and singing with the Angels, as she does in Her dreams. Jerys was born to entertain and fulfill her destiny to sing on top of the world. Aside from her older brother’s influence, Jerys also admired the voices and talents of such great performing Artists as India Arie, Foxy Brown, Jay Z, Lauryn Hill, Fugees, Nutorious B.I.G, Mary J. Blije, Destiny's Child, Nas, 2Pac, and Divas at large. Jerys was determined to perform like, and with the Stars of Music. She learned to breathe properly, how to use her voice, compose lyrics, and dance. She has sung with her peers in start up bands here and there,
with Indie Artists in studios, in talent contests in high schools, and in her community in Toronto where She grew up. Now at the ripe age of 18, Jerys has blossomed into a very talented Artist, blessed with an angelic voice, extraordinary beauty, and a knack for entertaining. After 5 years of intense training and coaching with her vocals, lyrical compositions, and dance, Jerys is ready to pave the road to her destiny.
